it has usually yellow skin with black spots, the ripe plantain in slices allows its cooking to be faster and it is also perfect to decorate
each meal.

For pan-frying:
- Remove the frozen ripe plantains from the freezer and let them thaw at room temperature for about 15-30 minutes.
- Slice the plantains into your desired thickness. You can slice them diagonally or straight, depending on your preference.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan or skillet over medium heat.
- Add a tablespoon of oil or butter to the pan and let it heat up.
- Once the oil or butter is hot, add the sliced ripe plantains to the pan in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Cook the plantains for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and caramelized.
- Use a spatula to flip the plantains halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
- Once the plantains are cooked to your desired level of caramelization and tenderness, remove them from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
- Serve the cooked ripe plantains hot as a delicious side dish or snack.
For Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the frozen ripe plantains from the freezer and let them thaw at room temperature for about 15-30 minutes.
- Slice the plantains into your desired thickness. You can slice them diagonally or straight, depending on your preference.
- Place the sliced ripe plantains in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Cook the plantains in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking, until they are golden brown and caramelized.
- Once cooked to your desired level of caramelization and tenderness, remove the plantains from the air fryer basket and serve them hot.
For Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the frozen ripe plantains from the freezer and let them thaw at room temperature for about 15-30 minutes.
- Slice the plantains into your desired thickness. You can slice them diagonally or straight, depending on your preference.
- Place the sliced ripe plantains on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced apart.
- Bake the plantains in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking, until they are golden brown and caramelized.
- Once cooked to your desired level of caramelization and tenderness, remove the plantains from the oven and serve them hot.
